Charming Teddy bear – at first glance, a completely ordinary toy teddy bear, which can be found in almost any house where there is a child. However, behind its external simplicity, the teddy bear hides a very strong character and an amazing fate. Only one unusual story of his birth deserves real admiration!
EVERYTHING BEGINS FROM USUAL HUNTING
In the fall of 1902, almost all US newspapers published interesting news: while on the hunt, President Theodore Roosevelt took pity on the little bear cub, which was to become a trophy of hunters that day. Among the readers, who were amused by the funny caricature, turned out to be the owner of the toy store Maurice Michtom. Maurice came up with the idea to replenish the assortment of her store with a novelty, and his wife, according to a talented sketch, recreated exactly the image of a bear cub saved by Roosevelt.
